Kinder Yarns is published by bazzaztech (ABN 16 831 278 845), Australia. We take privacy seriously, especially for a kids app. Here is exactly what we collect, and nothing more.
What we collect
We collect two things and only two things:
- Crash reports. When the app crashes, an anonymous report is sent automatically to help us fix the problem. Each report contains: app version, device model, OS version, an anonymous device ID (see below), the error stack trace, and a timestamp. No personal data, no usage history, no location.
- Subscription tokens. When you subscribe, Apple or Google provides a purchase token so we can verify your subscription status. We receive only this token, not your name, email address, or payment card details.
That is all. No account, no analytics, no behavioural tracking, no advertising identifiers.
Device ID
The app generates a unique device identifier on first launch. This ID is stored on your device and on our servers. It is used to link your subscription token to your device, and is included in crash reports. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information. You can view it in Settings → Device ID and request its deletion at any time.
What we do not collect
- No name, email address, or contact details
- No payment card or banking information
- No location data
- No usage patterns or story listening history
- No advertising or tracking identifiers
- No microphone or camera access
Audio content
All story audio is pre-generated and streamed from our CDN. No real-time audio processing occurs on our servers. No voice or audio data from your device is ever captured.
Purchase data
Payments are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive only a purchase token to verify your subscription. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Third-party services

We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking libraries.
Data retention
- Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days for debugging, then deleted.
- Anonymous server request logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then deleted.
- Device IDs and purchase tokens are retained for the life of the subscription for validation. Purchase tokens required for dispute resolution may be retained for up to 7 years, but contain no personal identifiers.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your device ID and any associated data at any time via our data deletion page. Because we hold no data linked to your name or identity beyond the device ID, there is nothing else to retrieve or correct. If you have questions, contact us at admin@kinderyarns.com.
